In 1992, Arsopi Thermal was established as a subsidiary of the parent company Arsopi Group, founded in 1942 in Vale de Cambra, Portugal, by our visionary Portuguese founder, Arlindo Soares de Pinho. Initially, Arsopi Group focused on supporting local dairy producers by providing them with the necessary equipment to modernize and expand their operations. Under the leadership of Arlindo Soares de Pinho, the group revolutionized the dairy industry by introducing new processes that combined modernity and tradition, resulting in increased production while preserving quality.

Over time, Arsopi Group expanded its operations to provide equipment to the chemical and petrochemical industries, becoming a national and European reference in manufacturing equipment for complex machinery and high-quality materials. The development of Arsopi Thermal, our own brand of gasket heat exchangers for global distribution, is the natural outcome of our humble beginnings in the dairy sector.

Through technological partnerships and licenses with Hisaka Works, a leading Japanese manufacturer in the field, we expanded our distribution horizons to offer superior quality equipment to customers in the brewing, chemical, and industrial sectors.

By continually investing in our production capacity and strengthening our partnership with Hisaka Works, which has become a shareholder, we have laid the groundwork for sustainable development to support our long-term business growth.

Today, Arsopi Thermal is an integral part of Arsopi Group, an entity comprising five companies and employing 500 collaborators. Founded in Portugal in 1942, Arsopi Group has over 75 years of experience in providing high-quality equipment to the most renowned entrepreneurs and engineering companies worldwide.
